Greetings Grex members and Grex community-at-large,
We are writing to inform you that there are three (3) seats on the Grex Board that are up for election. We invite you to consider becoming a candidate for the Grex Board of Directors.
Grex has been active in sponsoring Group Relations Conferences and other experiential and informational programs. Being a member of the Grex Board offers opportunities for creative work with others in the Group Relations community to further the application of psychodynamic and social systems analysis.
Board membership involves the commitment to attending scheduled meetings and contributing to Grex projects, including the planning and sponsorship of group relations conferences on the west coast and Hawaii. The Board meets one evening per month via Zoom video conferencing as well as three all-day (Saturday or Sunday) meetings (currently Zoom, but usually face-to-face). A board term is three(3) years.
Board work is a valuable and interesting application of group relations work with personal and professional rewards. If you have any questions about the operation of the Grex Board, please send an email to email@example.com, and a board member will contact you.
The nomination deadline is Feb 5, 2021, and we will collect statements of candidacy (a short biography and statement of why you are running for the board) by Feb 9.
Voting will commence February 11 and continue through February 25, 2021. Election results will be announced on the week March 1, 2021
Grex Vice-President, Chair Strategic Planning Committee
